Just Us Girls #362 - Inspiration Week

Yep, it's getting to be Fall time.  This pretty inspiration photo that Bobby found is awesome, right? All the gorgeous, bright Fall colors.

Well of course, I picked up on those, along with the sunflower.  I used a retired Inspired By Stamping set, French Country.  I really love this set.  It is a shame it's retired.  My thanks is a CUTplorations word die.

How does the photo inspired you?  Come on over to JUGS and show us your card.  Meanwhile, while you are there, be sure and check out the Team's cards -- can you say WOW!

Fall Coffee Lover's Hop

It's  time again for the Fall Coffee Hop!!  The success of this hop is amazing, and Amy does such a fabulous job at Hostessing it!  This year, I am using STAMPlorations images, one of the sponsors of this hop.

Shery specifically designed a few new sets just for this hop!  I was fortunate to get 3 of them, and let me tell you -- I had so much fun using these sets!

There are a ton of possibilities using this stamp, Framed Coffee To Go, but I stuck with the actual stamp, and added a sentiment.  Isn't it fun?  Oh, yeah, I almost forgot the CUTploration Coffee Word!  Can't ever go wrong with a coffee word die :).

Now for my fun project!  When I first saw this next set, Anywhere There's Coffee, I instantly thought of a key chain, and using my Shrinky Dinks!  (Also entering this into the SIP Challenge #66; anything but a card)

For a more proportional idea;

It had to have a card to go with it, right?  Of course it does~

A cup card naturally.  :) I used the newly released Anywhere There's Coffee.  The candle is from STAMPlorations Kathryn's Big Wish, and the hb is from Balloons & Banners.  Super fun gift don't you think?

That's it for me.  I can't wait to check out all the coffee cards this hop.  So much inspiration!

Sieze the Birthday Challenge - Soft & Simple

For this challenge the topping is soft & simple.

While this might not look simple, it really is.  It's just sponging over a white embossed image [retired Hero Arts Floral Blossom, and Happy Stamp & Cut set, along with the birthday from Altenew Label Love.], and mounted over a panel of designer paper.  I do love simple cards :).  I am also going to enter this into Altenew's Inspiration Challenge.  Not sure it qualifies, but I did use a product, it was inspired by the photo [the yellows and white], and Altenew does carry multiple floral images, [I just don't have any] ;).
Your turn!  Come on over to Seize the Birthday Challenge and play along!  Don't forget to check out the Team's cards while you are there~

STAMPlorations Inspiration #96

Just a side note:  Have you ever visited the STAMPlorations store?  Shery has so grown the company since I joined on this Team.  I was, and still am, so impressed by her fun sets, and the fabulous prices.  Don't even get me started with the low/and or free shipping, with a small amount purchased!  If you haven't, I highly recommend popping over and seeing the fabulous products she carries.  It will be worth your time.

Meanwhile, on with my card for today;

I inked up my acrylic block and spritzed with water, then laid in on a piece of water color paper.  [I do love effect of this.]  I used the flower from Buttercups & Butterflies [and matching dies], along with the Hello word die cut.

To see more awesome cards, pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog.  Don't forget to leave a comment for that monthly prize [see STAMP blog for details].

SCS Color Challenge #601

The colors for the SCS Color Challenge; Daper Denim, Mint Macaroon, Melon Mambo, with a dessert of ribbon.

I water colored the background.  I also water colored an additional sheet of paper, stamped and cut out the flowers, and leaves, so I had a continuous look.  I used the following Heartfelt Creations products:

Flourisheslc Share

I have recently stepped down from the Flourisheslc Team.  That said, I didn't want to waste sharing my final card with you all.

A couple of weeks ago a fellow stamper, Hazel, from My Card Attic, made these adorable 2.5 x 3.5 mini notebooks.  [You can see the video HERE on how to make these super fun books.]  I used the Christmastime Authentique Designer Paper [carried in the Flourisheslc store], to make my books.

You can see my Color Made Easy Burgundy Ribbon on the stand up card, and I also used Angelic Love [gold foiled leftover], and one of the extra images from Harp on my 3rd [shaker] book.  These  were so fun [and easy] to make.  They are going to make great gifts too!

I hope you try to make a few of these fun, adorable books!  They are so cute IRL~ :)

Just Us Girls #361 & September Calling All Sistahs Hop

While it is time for the Just Us Girls Challenge, it is also time for the Calling All Sisters Hop.  I went ahead and combined these 2 challenges.  [To play in, or see the amazing DT samples for the JUGS Color Challenge, just click HERE.]

I used the Just Us Girls colors, while making 2 get-your-attention, Girl Power cards.

For my first card, I used the Hope Ribbon and Ribbon Fri-Die, with sentiments from Girlfriend and Calling All Sistahs.

Because of the background die I used [having extra pieces], I went ahead and made a second card using the Friend Fri-Die, with sentiments from Dream Then Do and Bravo.

To see all the other fabulous cards supporting this important cause, you can go to the CAS-ual Friday's Blog.  Michele will tell you all about the prizes being offered.  Don't forget to leave a comment here too. :)

STAMPlorations Grand Finale September Release

Today is the grand finale for the STAMPlorations September Release. Seriously, I mean, Grand Finale!  The entire team has created 6 cards [each] showcasing the new CUTplorations Word Dies for the holiday.  They have done such such an amazing job using the different word dies.  After I show you mine, I will link you to the STAMPlorations Blog, and you can see just what I am sayin!  Unless otherwise linked, most of my images have come from the Warm Hands, Warm Hearts stamp set, and I used the matching dies on some too.

On to my cards; [you can click the word graphic for quick ordering]

I just adore the font of the MC.  I also used one of the CUTplorations Luggage Tags dies, and the Crazy Double Stitched Rectangle dies.
For this card, I used my MISTI and placed the images randomly on the [MISTI] lid, inked up, and stamped.  I then just colored the images with my Copics.  Once done, I taped the word cut over the top, and cut it out.  As you can see by the close up photo, [by doing this technique], you capture part of the colored image onto the words.

I also used last year's Holiday Sketches; Christmas Bells.  It went perfectly with this word die.

I intentionally used a yellow foam pad [also cut out] to go with the warm.  If you look closely, you can see I have some glittery hills behind my sleigh.  [CUTplorations also carries Stitched Snow Hills]
I mixed the Holidays die with the Happy Die that CUTplorations also offers.

I was also given the ATC/Gift Card Envelope to create with.

This die folds into an ATC size envelope.  SO CUTE!  I used some designer paper to make this envie, and decorated with the above products..

And for this one, I used a piece of acetate paper for a clear envelope.  I covered a playing card with some other designer paper and put that, along with some sequins, in this tiny envie.  I will also be adding a gift card to this for a fellow stamper.  She will be able to use the sequins on one of her cards, since they are loosely put into the envelope.  A little additional gift.

This is a crazy long post for me!  That said, now you can pop on over to the STAMPlorations Blog.  Shery is running fun challenges [with great prizes], and there is all kinds of information for you. [Sales prices, free shipping, contests,] Plus, you can see all the other Designer's AWESOME projects they have made!  There is also a prize for a random commenter, so don't forget to leave one here too.

Have Fun!
